Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Jennie McAlpine, Coronation Street's Fiz Brown, has revealed that she's had a peek at the December scripts and teased that they are "very juicy".
On today's (September 14) episode of Loose Women, McAlpine joined Alan Halsall, who plays her estranged partner Tyrone Dobbs, to talk about what fans can expect from the rest of this year's Corrie.
"You know what Coronation Street is like, I think there's going to be a few more bumps," McAlpine teased.
"It's a bit dramatic! Not even my bits, I was reading someone else's bits and ooh it's very juicy!"
Their characters Fiz and Tyrone have long had an on-again off-again relationship.
Recently, the couple seemed to be heading back towards a relationship when they shared a kiss. In Monday's episode (September 13), Tyrone revealed the kiss was meaningful to him and his prior engagement to Alina was a mistake.
Halsall, who plays Tyrone, told the Loose Women panel: "Everyday's a joy getting new scripts. Of course I love working with Jennie every single day, she's a joy to work with.
"But also as characters, there's a helluva a lot of history between the two of them, but as Jennie says, in Coronation Street anything can happen!"
However, back in July, McAlpine said Fiz has "started to feel like she could move on". She described Fiz and Tyrone's relationship as "like a pair of comfy old slippers".
Alan and Jennie have both starred in the soap for over 20 years.
Alan revealed: "I wasn't expecting to be in Coronation Street this long, I think I was told about three months, and it's like 23 years later!"
“But we love it, me and Jen," he continued. "We love being part of this show and long may it continue."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV, with occasional Friday episodes airing for one-hour blocks at 7.30pm.
