Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale aired troublesome scenes once again for Jimmy and Nicola King as he agreed to a custody deal without letting her know on Thursday (June 10).
Jimmy was adamant that his marriage to Nicola was over and reaffirmed to her that he had plans to move out.
As she highlighted that it was their 11 year anniversary and even had a card for Jimmy, he said that there's no way he'll change his mind about trying to work things out. He did however agree to stay in the house until they told the children about their split.
"Okay, you're right the kids come first, I'll hold fire for now. I'm not promising it's going to be months like you're asking but I'll do what I can," Jimmy said to Nicola.
Jimmy met up with Juliette to continue the discussion around the shared custody of their child Carl, and Juliette had a clear idea in mind.
She told Jimmy that she'd found a place near to the village and expressed an interest in having Carl stay with her on weekdays, leaving Jimmy to have Carl on weekends.
When Juliette said that she'd drop the custody battle, Jimmy agreed and was happy to give it a go. She was surprised when he didn't want to discuss it further, particularly as he had been more vocal previously.
Nicola arrived to apologise to Juliette for how she had treated her previously, and said that she'd be happy for Carl to see more of her, unaware that Jimmy had made a custody deal behind her back.
Once Juliette explained, Nicola told him: "So you're only breaking up my family five days out of seven? Why aren't you saying anything? She's taking our son!"
Back at the house, Nicola and Jimmy exchanged words and the kids overheard them arguing, but Nicola reassured them that she would get her own way as she always does.
Will Nicola be able to save her family or is it really the end of her marriage with Jimmy?
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
